Hello community,
I cycle and have used (and still do) an Edge 1040 for my training. I love the 1040 and want to use it as the training device. It is so configured in garmin connect (primary training device). I don't want to use the watch (primary wearable) as I have to let go the handlebar to see the info and it is too small. So the Edge will stay as training device.
Now what to do with the watch ? I tried recording on both and then delete one of them but I don't find that a good solution. Yesterday I left the watch at home, not sure it's the best solution either.
Today I'll try to record on the Edge and just wear the watch without recording. I normally don't like to wear any watch when cycling, so if they could communicate together, I would be pleased by the solution of leaving the watch at home.
What is your solution ? We must be many that use an Edge for training and wanted more information about HR, sleep, that made us buy a watch. They way they communicate (or not) together is quite blurry to me. I searched online but the best information that I found is year old so there might be some upgrades for better use-compatibility.
