Problems with new software 17.23 fenix 7x pro

Hi,

After the update to software 17.23 i have problems with suggested workouts.
(Fenix 7X pro sapphire)

When i tap the screen to check the daily suggested workout the display freezes for about 3 sec and its very sluggish to operate when it unfreezes.

it seems to be worse when i use it with the touch and a little bit faster with the buttons but still sluggish.

i had no issue with to old software.

This morning the watch froze for about a 1 min and nothing worked.

And later today there is something wrong with the with the touchscreen.
If i touch and swipe up to go in to see the widgets it only showing a new watch face and the touch stops working, the only way to get it to work is to use the back button and then use up or down button to get in to the widgets, when i´m in the touch works again.

But when i go up and down with the buttons it doesn't go to the right place in the widget meny it seems to go to the top or bottom widget no matter with button i use.

The watch worked flawless with the old software, Is there a bug fix coming out soon?

Can be for sure ... I noticed that switching could be done once but not reverted to pace even after a restart ...I had to reinstall fw to get pace back, no joke!

Since 10 weeks Garmin is aware of this bug and not able to fix it

I woukd not expect an update (neither firmware or useful comment from Garmin side) soon.

You may also rollback to 16.22 like I and some others did to have at least working DSWs

ok, but i have the suggested workouts and the work every day it´s only the meny that is very sluggish and slow and it seems worse when i use the touschscreen.

Ok I thought it freezes and nothing else happens but for you they show up at least...

They also appear (although sluggish/freezing behavior) when you completed a run that day with checking back next day?

I just had those freezes when I tapped Run activity ...it took 3-5 secs until run opened...not sure if it was only first approach that day...so maybe it should show the dail workout but was like freezing and after that timespan switching to run display (no DSW shown)

Didn't someone also post that the behaviour is different dependent on whether pace or HR is the basis of the workouts?

Like you had pace set, changed to bpm and you could not change it anymore...but I did not see behavior fredrik650b described

The setting change was 1x possible right after clean install of 17.23. Prior to that when I was already on 17.23 I was not able to switch to bpm in general

But all that seems somehow linked

DSW disappearing after run
Big lag going to run activity (maybe cycling too?)
Bpm/pace setting issue
Calendar crashing or
Calendar not showing any workouts
Crashes and/or reboots during workout??
Morning report without DSW
DSW not popping up directly when tapping run activity (16.22 does it!)
Once your run was completed it was not showing "run completed" with green checkmark for "today" (16.22 does it!)

Yes, they appear sluggish when i check the next day to.
I hope they release a bug fix soon.

I also have problems sinds 17.23. The DSW don’t show up in the morning report. Also if I want to see my DSW I have to shut down the watch in the morning and restart. Then they are back. When I complete a run and look in the DSW the run is gone instead of completed. The rest of the week is still there. There also seems to be a link with sleep mode which also does not work properly anymore. Sometimes it looks like sleep mode is off when it’s still on. And where before 17.23 my DSW adjusted regularly for example when I had a night of bad sleep, it seems that now everything seems to be pretty much fixed.
