Problem with turn alerts on navigation Fenix 7

Hi, I have a problem with the operation of the "turn alerts" navigation function. When I load a course from the Komoot app or directly from the Connect app, I do not receive vibrations or sound notifications about turns and going off course through the earphone while cycling, despite the settings being enabled. Probably because turn-by-turn navigation hasn't been enabled for that course. Jump into http://connect.garmin.com , edit the course and make sure turn-by-turn is enabled the send it to the watch again from Garmin connect.

So, every imported route from Komoot does not have the turn-by-turn option enabled by default, and each time you need to manually edit the route through Garmin Connect on the computer for it to work?

You will because the watch does not navigate. It will get the information at what position it has to show you the turn alerts. The watch does not use the maps or street information (except you set it to do so with the „use maps“ option).

Do you have the turn prompts enabled on your watch?

For cycling courses, the toggle for turn notifications in Garmin Connect does not even exist. It's one of may weird design decisions by Garmin. But according to a Garmin official, the intention is that cycling courses always have turn by turn notifications enabled. I have never checked if this is really the case, but I would not be surprised if it was not.

What I would recommend for troubleshooting:

Check if the turn notifications are enabled in your watch.
Change the course from a cycling course to a course of the type "other", then switch the toggle for turn notifications to on in the course properties. You need to send the course to your watch again in order to apply these updates. You do not need a computer, you can do it on the phone via Connect app.

Okay I just tried now. I saved a planned MTB route in komoot. It was automatically synced to Garmin Connect. No toggle for turn notifications in Connect, but they are there after sending the course to the watch. Also a MTB course created in the Connect App directly had turn notifications (although the toggle is not there).
