I just upgraded from Fenix 6X to 7X. I only had to open the Connect app maybe once per day to get a (weather) temperature to display on the home screen all day on the 6X. On the 7X, my temperature turns to two dashes after only a couple hours. I don’t want to open the app to update the temperature every few hours.. it defeats the point of showing information on the watch face (and I never had to do it that often with 6X). And I’ve never had to leave Connect open in the background on my phone to get desired results with the 6X.
My Connect app GPS is set to always allow, background refresh is on, and I’m not moving around to drastically different locations which would require new weather to be uploaded. In fact, I did not change any Connect settings on my phone when switching the watch to 7X.
Please help. I have a habit of looking at the temperature a lot and this is bugging me.
