Use the contact form at support.garmin.com to complain about the 17.23 issues with DSW and PP

Seeing as the downgrade post was locked, which is the only working fix for these issues, and that no one from Garmin is willing to grasp the nettle and offer a timescale of fixing this, then its worthwhile heading to http://support.garmin.com and reporting the issue direct to Garmin Support. Perhaps if everyone affected by these bugs goes direct to Garmin Support, and also comment on the YT announcement - > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XbKQIR7dlY we might see some movement here as these bugs are now over 2 months old with no fix in sight. Both were reported during the Beta cycle, and loads of us were asked to send more information on these issues. Since then we have heard nothing.

    Garmin is aware of the known issues effecting the Daily Suggested Workouts and Power modes. Both of these concerns have been escalated, so are being given the highest priority. While I do understand that these things have not been fixed as quickly as desired, they are being addressed. 

    I also agree. If anyone is experiencing one/or both of these issues and would like to report your experience (and have not already), please contact Garmin Product support. This will help to ensure you are tagged in this ticket, and will be contacted as soon as their is a solution.

  • Laurie, with all due respect, You talk of the 'highest priority' and yet its now been 74 days, and at least 4 beta releases and 2 public releases, since these bugs were reported using the bug report forum. I, and several others, have contributed files for these reports. We have asked several times, during every beta release since 17.10, for assurances and a timescale for a fix. Power profiles, ok is a bit esoteric but DSW's is a core feature and a lot of people here, and elsewhere, are reporting significant issues trying to use this.

    We've asked several times for some transparency about this, but stock answers that say nothing arent useful.

    When is the rough timescale we can expect fixes?
    Why was 17.20 and 17.23 released with broken core features, when bug reports were put in place several releases earlier.

    Are Garmin engineers/employees not only aware of but also seeing/experiencing this issue on their (test) watches or just relying on user reports?

    Was it due to too little useres experiencing the issue why 17.20/17.23 were released although reports were there for many weeks? (I mean it was the second highest bug report thread in terms of DSW)

    Have you already found sth showing what could cause DSW to break or are you still without a plan?

    Why is the topic escalated "now" and not prior release of public versions? What needs to happen to get taken serious? Your reaction to what was happening during Beta makes it senseless to participate!

    Why is product support quiet and not saying anything? (reported both issues june 5th...so many requests you cant handle support anymore or just don't care about?)
