If there is a support chat in your country I would try this option. Email often takes ages, especially now because many people have issues with the latest firmway.

Thanks @matthias unfortunately that didn’t work. I did email Garmin support several days ago but have heard nothing in reply.

The suggestion from Garmin support was to try a beta update which should provide a fix.
I’m not really a fan of beta releases due to bugs etc.
I tried the downgrade option to 16.22 and that seems to have worked.
Auto update is now disabled !
As far as I can see, there is no newer version than 17.23 - also no beta version higher than 17.23. Did they suggest you upgrade to something that doesn't exist? They are getting better...
To be honest I don’t even bother enrolling on the beta program and checking. Just thought I’d be replacing one bug with another !
