fenix 7x pro, every update changes activity GPS setting

I have a Cardio profile with GPS enabled on my fenix 7X Pro. However, after every updates, now 17.23, the GPS setting is set to disable. Is this a bug?

Sounds like it might be or maybe an “undocumented feature”. Couple of things I would try:along with reporting it is

1. Make a copy of Cardio, rename and enable GPS; or

2. Make a copy of another activity that uses GPS, modify the data fields to what you want and use this. Disadvantage of this is that it will not automatically be classified as Cardio.

Thanks @razmichael, I'll try making a copy of another activity and see if same thing happens. I did make a copy of the preloaded Cardio activity, modify it, and it gets overridden after software updates.

I can confirm this issue happens everytime after every software updates since 17.23 to 19.34. Every update, the duplicated Cardio activity's GPS setting is set to "Off".

I contacted Garmin tech support and was sent a URL to a product feature suggestion (??) form to submit this issue.
