Is the map download on the watch supposed to resume next time?

Or is this bad wording, because in my understanding resume means continuing the download and not start over at 0%, when charging the next time.

I don't know, since I have never done it directly on the watch. I recommend using express on a computer, which is much faster and more reliable.

My download just stopped for no obvious reason and restarted from 0%. I didn’t even unplug the watch. I guess it will always start from 0%. I can’t use Express because my laptop is a Chromebook

Failed again, resumed from 61% and got an error at about 95% resulting in a "trying to download the map from 0% loop".
