Locking the downgrade thread was a real shot-themselves-in-the-foot moment. Especially since no one from Garmin is willing to give a timescale for a fix.
DesFit has released a YT video on 17.23, mention in the comments there that it's broken. Hopefully getting a YT'er to shine a light on this may galvanise some action

If people who are affected by these (and the bug reports have a lot of people mentioned) comment on the videos, hopefully we can get the YT'er's involved to intervene as well as it seems indivdually theres no one at Garmin who are willing to give more info

So please Garmin, this is a core feature that i use a lot, fix ASAP and not with V18... in tow or three month

No one seems to want to tell us anything so hopefully we can get some info from someone. Communication has been shockingly bad
Same issue for me (Epix Gen2,on 17.23). DSW works again after a restart of the watch and the next day the calendar app closes before displaying the work of the day.
