Fenix 7 + HRM-Run

Hello,

I started using my Fenix 7 with and old HRM-Run band (red one) and when I do that, my running Power keeps at 0W (screenshot attached) and the running dynamics also stay at zero. Is this band not compatible with this measurings? When I use only the watch the running power and RD appear in garmin connect.

Normally when you just get HR and nothing else, the strap is upside down on you. Try wearing it the other way and do a test quick run

I'm not sure about running power but run dynamic should be there.
I was using HRM-Run with Fenix 3 and 6 and had dynamics data.

Tips for Missing Running Dynamics Data

If running dynamics data does not appear, you can try these tips.

Make sure your Garmin^® device supports running dynamics.

For more information, go to www.garmin.com/runningdynamics.
Pair the HRM-Pro accessory with your Garmin device again, according to the instructions.
Make sure you are paired using ANT‍+^®, rather than Bluetooth^®.
If the running dynamics data display shows only zeros, make sure the accessory is worn right-side up.

NOTE: Ground contact time and balance appears only while running. It is not calculated while walking.

Try wearing it the other way i.e if you're fastening it on. your left side, fasten it on the right

I know all of that.
Now use HRM-Pro+, earlier HRM-Pro and before that I had HRM-Run.
Never had issue with lack of data.
Faced other issues (usually elevated HR at the beginning of run with HRM-PRO and PRO+, but solved it using ECG gel, BTW, one of my strap was replaced on guarantee due t this).

With an old HRM check if the Battery is low or change Battery.

I've got the Fenix 6 Pro and the HRM Pro Plus. The Serie 6 doesn't include running power and the running dynamics, in my case they should be tracked by the the strap. In your case I think that they are already tracked by the watch. Try to see if there's an update to do or something like that.

I have been experiencing problems like these for months. At first it all worked out but suddendly stopped working. I've also got my strap replaced by Garmin but unfortunately it didn't work. Running power is still missing and so are the running dynamics, they are showed sometimes but for a brief period of time. .
