Topomaps won’t download on Fenix 7.

Try using Garmin Express and a computer to do maps, if you can. Its a lot quicker.

Can that be done from my phone Garmin express? Didn’t know I can do that. Thought it had to be done from the device. 

No a computer. Uses the watch cable and the Express app on the computer. Its MUCH quicker for installing maps

Another reason I like Express - In Europe, you can only download TopoActive Europe the complete map on the watch. If you use Express you can select West, East or Central - they're nuch smaller and save some space!

I’ve used express and it says it’s all downloaded. I can’t see any map when I go to maps. It’s all white. How do I see a contour map of where I am? 

Switched them on in the activity settings?

On the Map screen, press up when it says options OR HOLD DOWN the MIDDLE LEFT button until a menu appears

Check all the ones you want to use have a Green mark next to them

TopoActive Maps have their own section so click that and check its green as well

Or in Connect

Click the watch icon in the top right
Select your watch

Map again
Configure Maps

If you have any third party maps (like contours) they'll show here - make sure they're ticked on

Then head to TopoActive Maps and check they're on

Do the same for any other activities you use like run or walk
