Garmin's Product team isn't present in these forums unfortunately. They'd be the ones who could answer that.

Red Shift is already available in the fenix 7 Series watches. Red Shift is the same set of features as "lume" just a different name.
HTH
Nah, bro. Red shift is different to lume which is a simulation of a luminova style finish.
Have you got a pic to show the difference?
It is not a difference how it looks, basically looks the same.
Difference is how it works.
I have Descent MK3i and it’s quite nice, LUME mode is changing display colour to near red shift colour in dark environments doesn’t matter day or night.
And probably this function will be available only on models with tactical functions.
But I might be wrong.

"Red Shift" mode with green selected as the color:
Looks like the same thing to me... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You are right that they looks the same.
Only behavior is different.
RED shift might be triggered during sleep time, or after sunset.
Instead of it LUME mode will work whole day, you need to be in place with low light and watch will automatically switch display to LUME which will be looking the similar like RED shift, of course if you set same colour for both modes.

Same watch face in LUME mode:
Lume settings are under the WF configuration for AMOLED devices.
