I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. If you are not able to connect the watch with Garmin Express, there are a few initial troubleshooting steps you will want to try:

If the computer does not see the watch is connected: 

• Try cleaning the contacts on the back of the watch and cable. For this, we recommend using rubbing alcohol. 
• Try multiple ports on the computer, if possible. We do not recommend USB hubs. 
• Try another cable. 
• Try forcing the what as a drive on the computer: Outdoor Watch is Not Recognized by Computer

If the computer does see the watch: 

• Ensure Garmin Express is on the latest version. 
• Remove the watch, if already added to Express, Then try readding this: 
  
  1. Click the device in Express
  2. Click Tools and Content
  3. Select the Utilities tab
  4. Select Remove device
  5. Try adding the device again
