Fenix 7 became useless. Freezing after doing anything

Hi,

Yesterday I traveled from Europe to Costa Rica and would it be possible that the timezone change *** up my watch?

I'm on software 16.22 and made sure I did all the updates before I left.

Now it keeps freezing after a minute or so or if I scroll through the watch. Every time.

I then hold the light button for several seconds and start back up again.

It's completely useless this way. I'm very frustrated because I bought the watch for these trips.

Anything I can do? Anyone tips?

If I try a factory reset, do I lose al the downloaded maps?

Wouldn't want another watch, always been very happy with it, but this is unacceptable.

Thanks. Very curious if that works. Mine doesn't even show the time right anymore most of the time.

Sounds like there's some kind of background process that is consuming a bunch of resources.

Have you tried a full factory reset and a restore from backup? You won't lose your maps.

Same here. Watch became useless. Need 29 times to get it startet. Buttons don’t work or not as before. Activities like Golf don’t work anymore…

Same problem here. When I start any activity the watch freezes after about 90 seconds and I have to hold the top left button for 10 seconds to reboot it. I have a Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar with version 16.22.

Did the factory reset resolve the issue?

I just got back from my holiday. I had decided to do nothing until I was back home. Because I suspected it could have had to do with the timezone change. Also I didnt want to be any more frustrated with my watch on holiday. Been a shame it was completely useless. But now I'm back home, everything seems to work fine again. Except a way bigger battery drain then before.

Have you moved timezones by any chance?

I am also having issues with 16.22 software on my Fenix 7 Solar. My watch has always been working flawlessly but now when starting a run, audio starts stuttering after 15 seconds and the watch then freezes. Have tried soft rebooting it but the error persists.
