Bluetooth disconnects

Hi all

i have just upgraded from a Garmin instinct solar to a Garmin Fenix 7 X solar and every time I’m more than 20 feet away from my phone.  My watch disconnects from Bluetooth on my iPhone 12.  
I have the latest Garmin connect app installed and never had this problem with my instinct.

For over 650 quid this shouldn’t be happening surely there’s a fix Garmin 

I’ve disconnected my watch from my phone I’ve deleted Garmin connect and restarted my phone and re installed Garmin connect.  Everything that’s recommended I’ve done and it still happens makes me want to send it back any ideas please
