Fenix 7X Pro Innacurate Swim Tracking

Hi all! My Fenix 7X Pro (about 2 months old) has begun to track swims very innacurately. Today after doing a 400m interval I stopped it and it had only tracked 175m. I have the swim settings correctly set up for the pool I'm swimming in.

Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

This is almost a daily complaint. Search the forum for other topics. Until now there is no real solution.

This problem is a problem for every sports/smart watch. Actually, it's not the watch's problem, it's the swimmer's problem.

The watch does not measure swimming like running treadmill, it only detect the end of the lap. If in the middle of the pool you stop or change your swimming style, the watch will increase by 1 lap. If you finish a lap too quickly, the watch cannot detect finish lap and you'll miss one lap of the result.

You can search for swimming techniques to increase the accuracy of tracking Garmin. Lots of documentation on this.
Bonus: If you swim with proper technique, there are almost no errors when swimming in the pool.
