If the Enduro2 has every feature that the Garmin Fenix 7x Pro sapphire solar has ( I'm assuming ECG soon ) plus longer battery life and 2x brighter LED light why would anyone buy the Fenix 7, won't this kill Fenix 7 sales?

If the Enduro 2 has every feature that the Fenix 7x pro sapphire solar has ( I'm assuming ECG soon ) plus longer battery life and brighter LED light, why would anyone buy the Fenix 7x pro and won't this kill sales?

  • The Enduro 2 has an older sensor package, therefore it will never get ECG. The brightness of the flashlight is the same on the Enduro 2 and Fenix 7 Pro. Only the non-pro Fenix 7 had a weaker flashlight. Where I live, the Enduro 2 is still much more expensive than a Fenix 7 Pro. The only significant (barely) advantage of the Enduro 2 seems to be slightly bigger battery.

So my question is: Why would anyone buy the Enduro 2? Judging by the amount of traffic on the Enduro 2 forum, hardly anyone does.

  • Thank you for the response , that was very informative and I am quite happy that I chose the fenix 7x pro.

  • Why would anyone buy the Enduro 2?

You were right in your analysis, but since Enduro 2 has been a smaller success than F7Pro it is exactly the reason that sometimes during campaign pricing you could see lower prices for Enduro 2 than F7X Pro.

I bought my Enduro 2 at a price of EUR 540 incl 27% VAT  (highest in Europe)  last September.
