Activity start lag

Summary: 30 to 40 second delay in starting any activity. When I start activity will freeze then eventually catch up. Curious if anyone is having this issue. So far I've turned off live tracking, and I've deleted all my saved activities and rebooted. 

Device STATS: 
Garmin Fenix 7 Tactix 

Software Version 15.77

    I am very sorry to hear you are experience a lag in the device. Since you have updated to 16.22, if this issue is still occurring, I would recommend a couple steps to resolve this.

    I am very sorry to hear you are experience a lag in the device. Since you have updated to 16.22, if this issue is still occurring, I would recommend a couple steps to resolve this. 

    • First, I would recommend trying a hard reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again. 
    • If this continues, I would recommend removing any potentially corrupted files. This may include Activities, Courses, Workouts, or Locations. 
      1. Connect the watch with a Windows computer
      2. Open the watch drive
      3. Open the Garmin folder
      4. Locate the above files, and delete the contents
      5. Disconnect the watch and powercycle
