After accepting update yesterday I woke up to a dead watch! On powering up the watch goes into a constant loop of rebooting - never getting past the splash screen - no BT connection - nothing! A disaster of an update - totally useless watch now!!!

I had the same after a Bluetooth update, I fixed it by doing this:
* turn off the fenix by holding top left button for 5+ seconds.
* Then press and hold top right, bottom right and bottom left buttons.
* While holding these buttons press top left to turn on the watch and keep holding te other buttons until the fenix logo appears
* release other buttons.
After that my fenix booted correctly and I got the 'updated to 16.22' message

This is interesting....I am just noticing I have upgraded to the version and my sleep is suddenly not recording. I will try this cold boot as well. I did have an app abort yesterday and the watch rebooted and reported it as a "run" in error.
tried this and got a weird message about using the Garmin Mobile app for assistance when I turned off the watch.
Something fishy here in Garmin Town? I had an activity abort yesterday and defaulted/reported it as a Run (this seems to be a default failure mode for Garmin. Last time this pointed to some library screw ups that get pushed to the third party developers and screws up their applications.
The last time I have now a medal for a record marathon run speed. (I don't run EVER after 5 knee operations - just cycling)
