I recently updated to the latest software 16.22 and now the heart rate is disappearing from my watch face after about 10 seconds. I'm using the garmin default watch faces and it only happens on this one watch face only when the Seconds option is enabled. As soon as I push a button or tap the screen, the heart rate re-appears. See screenshots. Sometimes, it flashes on and off while I'm not doing anything.
Any one have ideas on how to fix this?

Our engineers are aware of this issue, and are investigating this for a solution. This will be resolved with a future software release. This will be released likely by early May.
I looked in the .FIT-file and it shows gaps between the HR recordings.
The HR watch face concern should not be impacting the HR recording. Only the appearance of the widget on the watch face…

This concern is still being investigated by our engineers. They have not indicated that the 17.20 update was supposed to fix this. As it stands, this is still pending a solution.

Fixed issue causing heart rate charts to not show up on some watch faces.
I received confirmation from engineering, this has been resolved since the BETA version 17.12.
2 months later and this issue is still not fixed?!? may i humbly suggest that when there's a bug introduced in an official fw update affecting the watch face itself that maybe there should be a hotfix…
