About HR - Fenix 7X Solar ( elevate 4 )

i am at 15.77 on a Fenix 7X solar, and noticed that sometimes when i start a WALK workout the HR is way below what it should be.
It stays low sometimes few minutes , sometimes more,,,,, but today i have discovered that if i press the BACK button
to go back to the watch face, and simply go to the GLANCE view , the HR WIDGET shows the right HR.
After that pressing again BACK to go back to the running WALK activity suddenly the HR starts working.

this is what has been recorded today ( HR vs steps cadence ).
This looks like a SW bug to me.... is there any fix in progress?

Yeah ive noticed the same. When i go for a walk ( without starting an activity) the sensor will always go haywire at some point showing 140-160 HR. When i scroll down to the hr widget glance it starts measure HR correctly in a matter of seconds.. always been that for me with Garmin watches and it only happens during winter. Dont know if its the same issue as yours but it sure goes haywire at some point when i walk.

Would be great to hear if someone with elevate 5 experience the same issue

I have noticed a similar thing when cycling on Zwift. I am using an external HRM on Zwift to record the activity whilst my Fenix 7 is in passive mode. Zwift may indicate an HR of 120 whilst the watch face is indicating maybe 80 bpm. If I check the glance it corrects immediately but also when I check the history chart, the correct HR was already being recorded for the prior period of activity.

Was testing beta 16.22 today but things seems almost the same, HR jumps from 76 to 100 too quickly
like the HR sensor was 'sleeping' ... i had Apple Watch on the other wrist and HR was reported aroud 95.
Then when the HR sensor on Garmin 'wakes up' they are comparable. I think there is something to be fixed regarding HR when the activity is started.

Garmin-Laurie can you please take it into account ?

All the recent Garmin communications deal with some warm up now, but WHR was working until recently without warm up like Apple/Coros/Suunto/etc. thanks in advance for your feedback.
