I can not download any maps via the maps manager on my Fenix 7. I am running Software Version 15.77 on the device. Issues I am having:
- Map manager will confirm connection to my wifi network and read 0% for hours (even left overnight). This is true for TopoActive maps as well as with Outdoor Maps+.
- On occasion, my device will show 1-10% download, and eventually fail to download with the message "Map Sync Failed".
Things I have tried to do to fix the issue:
- Update the maps that were downloaded on my device at the time of purchase, then reset the device and try again.
- Clear the download queue from both Outdoor Maps+ and TopoActive maps, then reset the device and try again.
- Clear known wifi networks, then reset the device. After reset, connect the device to my wifi network and try again.
- Use multiple different wifi networks.
- Use the onboard keyboard to enter the wifi network passwords as opposed to the Garmin Connect App.
- Attempted to download a single layer from Outdoor Maps+ to decrease the file size. Can't even download one layer.
- Attempted to download maps for current location and a saved location separately. Neither will download.
Please help. I need maps and I recently purchased and activated Outdoor Maps+.
