For those who don't know, if you go to Settings -> Connectivity -> Phone and repeatedly click the light button a few times, a secret menu pops up with this option. It was suggested as a workaround for constant disconnects I was having from my phone. When I say constant, I mean even when the phone and the watch were next to each other, the connection would not last even for a few minutes, and when I opened the app I saw it as disconnected. This of course resulted in horrible battery drain. Since I enabled this option battery has been even better than what advertised.
