Does anyone know why Garmin's official website now says the Fenix 7 Standard does not have SATIQ. Marketing trick? or a problem with SATIQ and removed as a feature with a firmware update

The standard Fenix 7 never had and is never going to have SatIQ, since it doesn't have multi-band GPS. Only the Sapphire (and Pro) versions do.
Too bad I didn't save a picture when I ordered it, or it was a typo on the website. This was two months after they put it on sale.Today we were ordering for a friend and it turned out there was no satiq
The Garmin website never said that the standard fenix 7 has sat iq.

Does the Garmin Fenix 7 Standard have SATIQ ?
Yes, the Garmin Fenix 7 Standard has SATIQ. SATIQ is a multiband reception technology that uses multiple satellite navigation systems to provide better positioning in difficult conditions. This can be useful if you are running in heavily wooded areas or near tall buildings.
Interesting. According to the information on Garmin's November 30, 2023 website, the Fenix 7 Standard has SATIQ.

No.
Bard is hallucinating, probably mixing up Fenix 7 with Fenix 7 PRO.
It was a big discussion when Fenix 7 (non PRO) was announced about lack of this functionality in no Solar Sapphire versions.
