Hello fellow forum members,
I would like to share my experience regarding the VO2Max display on my Garmin Fenix 7 and my attempts to make it more accurate.
I am an active swimmer and have noticed that my Fenix 7 displays a VO2Max value of 41, regardless of my regular and intensive swimming sessions. I swim between 6 and 10 km per week at a steady pace, with sessions of more than 2 km each. Despite the Fenix 7 registering my heart rate and my use of the HRM Swim band, the displayed VO2Max remains unchanged.
I understand that the VO2Max value is an important indicator of aerobic fitness and endurance, and it is frustrating to see that this value is not accurately reflected, especially considering my dedication to my swimming training.
I wonder if there are settings that I can adjust to improve the accuracy of the VO2Max display, or if there are other factors I should consider. Has anyone else experienced similar issues and found a solution?
Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Nico
