Polar verity sense

Hello,

Once the polar verity sense is connected to my Fenix7 do I  have to disabled the wrist sensor or do I leave it to ”auto” ??

Thanks for your help.

  • Leave the wrist HR sensor set to Auto - when the Verity Sense is on and connected, the watch will automatically get HR info from the Verity Sense.

  • Vers odd ! When my VeritySense is connected to my Fenix7 I get ”Status:connected” but once connected when I recheck the statut I get ”Status: precision mx active”.

And, very odd, the Status is the same for all other external devices ( precision mx active", what is ridicules for audio devices!

So I am not sure AT ALL my Polar Verity Sense is effectively used to measure my FC on my Fenix7.

  • An easy test to see if the Verity Sense(VS) is being used is to start an activity with the watch on your wrist with VS connected and watch OHR set to Auto. Observe the indicated HR on the watch, then remove the watch from your wrist and observe the HR.

If the HR is the same on and off your wrist, then the VS is providing the HR.

I have no idea what the ”Status: precision mx active” is all about...

  • Even worst. When I remove the Fenix7 from my wrist I loose the HR.

Normally I should still receive the HR from the ”Verity sense”.

The Verity Sense is in the mode ”cardio frequency”.

So the problem is: is the VeritySense well connected to my Fenix7.

There is no problem with the ”Verity sense” because it works perfectly when it it connected to my smartphone via the ”Polar Flow” app.

    I am at a loss.
