I have the Garmin 7x Pro Sapphire Solar. I have it set to do not disturb. I have the Samsung Galaxy s 22 Ultra and the ringer is silent. I'm using the native Samsung phone dialer. I noticed today that there was a call incoming that was marked "Connect rejected" . I did not accidentally bump the phone or the watch to reject the call and have never seen that message in the call log before.
