Installed Connect IQ field but not active appears on Garmin Connect

I’m very aware of it and in fact I was using one.

The bug I’m reporting is that charts for this app should not be appearing in this specific activity once the app was not included as a field on any page.

Even after I checked pages configs on GCM and on the watch I still get blank charts from a Connect IQ app that is not present on any page for this specific profile/activity.

I changed the layout to 8 fields in order to find any “hidden” field and then back to my usual 6 fields pages.

alphaHRV app charts should not appear on Garmin Connect for this specific activity once it is not configured on any data page.

I do not notice this problem with the IQ fields "Walker" and "Egear+". Maybe contact developer.

Ive also this problem.

Due to bug in GCM not showing lap info or cadence in Elliptical or Indoor Row, I use the indoor bike for both of them instead. One copy for each.

In the rower copy, Ive the CIQ DF AK Rowing that write a couple of fields to fit file.

All those data also saves to fit file when I use the elliptical copy w/o the CIQ DF.

Ive no ciq df in the original indoor bike app.

Just to general information:

Thanks to alphaHRV developer we have found my Bike Indoor profile is some how currupted.

He asked me to try to add an IQ data field to this profile.
As I was only using one (HRSS), I should see something like ConnectIQ(1/2) and have the oportunity to select one more IQ datafield.
Turns out I couldn’t. Watch showed me ConnectIQ(2/2) and no choice to select any one else.
He suggested I remove it and create a new one from scratch.

My question: how can I get a new fresh Bike Indoor profile?

Will copying the current one be a fresh one or it will bring all that I already have?

That's a bug that pops out now and then since f5x days. I've tried a lot of things, but I think the easiest thing was to uninstall from mobile app the ciq's thats been involved, check if you have possibillity to install new ones in the activity and then reinstall.

I had problem with Threadmill activity that flashlight flashed all he time when threadmill act started.

I tried to delete the file and its recreated, but didn't help. Then Garmin said to try ro 'restore defaults' in activity settings and that helped. Never done that before, but it could also be something to test when having activity specific problems.

What helped me on the "ghost CIQ field" (ConnectIQ(1/2) despite no CIQ fields were added) problem was to remove all ciq fields from the activity and restart the watch. After that, it was back to 0/0. If that doesn't help, resetting the activity to default settings might do the trick.
