I've recently started to have an issue with my Fenix 7. The display light is always on.
In the past, I started to have some issues with the back button not being responsive after a swim. I ended up in the infinite reset loop after restart that prevented me to use the watch for a day or so. After some time the issue got fixed by itself and the back button started to work again. To fix the infinite loop in the future, I removed the long press action from the back button to the start activity button. This way, if back button remains ever stuck I can long press start activity and it will move me on home screen.
For a period I was happy, it was working fine, but then from time to time, it would randomly turn on display again. Normally after swimming or watch getting in touch with water.
Recently, looks like the back button issue is keeping my light on forever. I'm assuming it is still back button, because when I'm restarting the watch it will go again in the mode of Reset to factory? Yes/No, if I'm choosing No, it will ask again, remaining in this infinite loop.
What's more weird is that this time the back button is working though, not on every touch, sometimes it's missing one click but then working on the second click.
Any idea what could be the issue? Is it software issue or hardware issue? Because of screen randomly remaining on (after getting one notification for example), if I'm not noticing to manually turn light off my battery is draining very fast.
