Display quality on Fenix 7 Pro (Sapphire Solar)?

In direct comparison, the display of the 7pro (no sapphire) is clearer than that of the 6pro, also without sapphire crystal.
But you quickly get used to it and then it is hardly visible.

I’ve gone from a 7x to a 7x pro, both sapphire, and I find the screen on the pro noticeably clearer and brighter - but I never had an issue with the 7x. Would the AMOLED of the Epix be best for you?

I have a Delta Sapphire (equal to F6XProSS) 955, F7XProSS, and I find the front view of 7X pro much better,

However surprisingly the off center view of Delta SS is the best.

My guess is the Fenix 7 would have the exact same display at the 955.

P.S. the poor side view only happens when viewed from 7 o clock position and 1 clock position 

Do you have auto brightness set to on on the 7xSS?

If so, could you turn it off and set the same percent in brightness and compare again.

I could also test an AMOLED (FR 265), but sometimes the dimmed display is annoying. And I could not use my preferred watch face with a white background. It's a close call, but I would lean slightly towards the Fenix line.

We have to separate between MIP with and w/o backlight on. Here what i found out:

w/o backlight the screen of Fenix 7 and 7 Pro is noticeably darker than Fenix 6 und has problems from side-view due to mirror effect of the touch layer

- Thats why i will never use a F7 with sappire in the woods (MTB)

with backlight on the Fenix 7 Pro is the best in contrast and collours.

Brightness set at 20% for all:

The off-center loss of contrast happens from 7 o clock viewing position..or 1 o clock..its a shame because 7 o clock is a very common viewing position for anyone who wears the watch on their left arm ( sitting on a sofa, desk, driving, cinema, etc) .... The engineers should have aligned this along the 5 o clock / 11 o clock axis.

Chris, does your Fenix 6 have sapphire? In my experience the touch layer doesn't create any reflections however solar layer does and of course sapphire lens. My 955 non-solar has touch but no reflections at all, the glass is invisible. I think Fenix 6 also uses the same glass which Gorilla Glass DX coated.

No it was non-sapphire F6.

Youre right it could also be the solar layer, which is more reflective if it is not only the red ring outside ?

But to be honest, i am back at the F7 pro after i went back to F6 for a few weeks because  missed the significantly better GPS and the much better BT headphone compatibiöity of the F7 Pro.
