15.76 Increased battery usage (Fenix 7)

Hi,

I noticed that the battery drain went from about 3% a day to almost 5% a day after updating to 15.76 (without activity).

This is a subtle but annoying difference. Did you also noticed that?

Of course, I tried the soft reset method.

5% per day corresponds to approx. 20 days battery life so isn't it close the the specification - at least for the 47mm Fenix 7?

Yes, but it depends on the settings. I am in full economy mode, no fancy watch face, no BT, no WiFi. I used to have even less than 3% battery drain per day with 14.36.

No. Same settings, my battery consumption avg is 0.08%/hr (no activities), and is 2%/hr using gps. 7mth old Fenix 7XSS

OK, I didn't consider battery saving mode. Maybe a factory or soft reset would help

The same problem for me. After upgrade it went from 6% to 10%/day on Fenix 7 Sapphire. No activity. The same software version.

I noticed around 9% /d drain with 30 min (no GPS) activity. After the soft reset, I am back to 6.4% /d on a Fenix 7 Pro SS
