XC Skiing - Cadence not showing?

My XC Skiing season is about to start. I bought my Fenix 7 Pro because my Venu2 was lacking features in its Cross Country skiing activity. It would suck if their flagship watch can't even record the cadence.

Maybe you need to have HRM PRO sensor paired with your watch?

It is mandatory for Cross Contry skiing power measure. 
Do your colleague have such sensor?

Actually, I used the HRM-Pro. My friend with the 935 did not use any heart rate strap at all.  The problem seems to be that Garmin does not show the cadence data (which is collected from the watch).

My friend gets the following data in the Garmin Connect app (kadens = cadence, and from the graph he averaged about 50 strokes per minute) :

@garmin, @Garmin-Jimmy, @Garmin - Chris, please update the Connect App so it shows the same data for Fenix 7 as for the 935.

Asking again Garmin - Chris Garmin-Jimmy, why is the 935 showing cadence for the activity Cross Country Skiing, but not the Fenix 7? Please fix so also the Fenix 7 shows cadence for the activity Cross Country Skiing.
