This is probably one of the most wanted feature but I see no progress, no information on this. Could someone from the devs explain what is the roadmap for this?

I don't think anyone here is really paying attention to the community requests.
I'll just put a few links so you spare a few minutes to see what's going on:

Smart alarms means that you set a wake up window (range of time) that you want to wake up and the watch, which is monitoring your sleep, wakes you up when you are not in REM or deep sleep. I always seem…
Just because you don't care about the feature doesn't mean it a 'minority request'.
probably the most wanted feature
Really? What is ‘smart wake up’? Where are the threads about ‘smart wake up’?
This is probably the most wanted feature but I see no progress
I'm already smart enough to wake up...
hmm yeah idk what smart wakeup is either, unless you're talking about the ability for a device (watch) to gradually and gently nudge you awake over a period of say 10-15 minutes? so a lamp could slowly turn itself brighter and brighter every minute or so until it simulates sunrise. or a clock could play some birds chirping really low and then slowly increase the noise. for a watch i'd suppose it would be a really low powered vibration and gradually increase it. is that smart wake up? or maybe waking you when you're at your "wakeful cycle"?
if so, meh i'll pass. when i need to get up, wake me up. otherwise piss off until it's time to wake up

There are more than that.
So, nothing much in Garmin forums then - naps, sleep data to SDk, stuff about smart alarms. What is meant by ‘Smart Wake Up’?
I see the thread title has been amended now to ‘Smart Wake Alarm’. Still a minority request. Well done on searching. Trust the suggestion has again been submitted to Garmin through their ideas link.
Smart alarms means that you set a wake up window (range of time) that you want to wake up and the watch, which is monitoring your sleep, wakes you up when you are not in REM or deep sleep. I always seem to be dreaming right before my alarm goes off and its really hard to wake up so this feature is intended to help avoid that situation.
Just because you don't care about the feature doesn't mean it a 'minority request'.
The sleep tracking would have to get wayyyy better for a smart alarm to even be a possibility. The way things are right now I would get random alarms when I'm reading or driving on a straight highway and the watch thinks I'm napping
