I am beyond frustrated. My elevation was always wildly higher than it should be on my Fenix 7s Solar. I upgraded to the Fenix Pro 7s Sapphire Solar thinking the multi-band GPS would fix the problem. I just ran 15 trail miles with a friend yesterday who has a Coros Apex 2. His run seemed pretty accurate at around 1800ft of elevation gain. I was right with him the whole time and my watch reported 2800ft!!!
This has been a constant problem. this stat is really important to me in my training for ultras next year and this means all those fancy new stats like Hill Performance and whatever are totally bunk. What can I think of doing except switch to Coros? This is a very expensive problem. And I see sooo many others in this forum with the same problem.
