Fenix 7 (X Pro) abnormal heart rate detection during cycling activities with edge devices - works fine on Fenix 5(+).

Hey!

~2 months ago I replaced my Fenix 5 with a Fenix 7X Pro. During road cycling I use an Edge 1030+ device to record the activity, not the watch.

The Fenix 7X Pro continuously detects abnormal heart rates and throws an alert during cycling. I have this feature configured the same like on the old Fenix 5 and basically I want keep it enabled.

The Fenix 5 has never thrown an alert during cycling with an Edge device on ~15.000+ KM. The fenix 7X pro does this basically all ~10 KM.

It would be great if this bug could be fixed and it could work the same like on the old Fenix 5, looks like the motion detecion/move IQ or similar behaves different.

A friend of mine has made the same experience, but he came from a Fenix 5+ and went to a Fenix 7. For cycling he uses the edge 1030.

Just to bring it up.
Latest firmware, same annoying issue.

I also had a splendid Fenix 5x Plus and, although the optical cardio was older, it was much more precise even when running.

My Fenix 7x performs well on the bike, but when running it is terribly imprecise. On some rides he mistook running cadence for heartbeat, maybe the same thing happens to you on the bike.

My edge1030 remained at BETA version 13.79 and Garmin abandoned us after being part of the beta program, they closed forums and did not fix the problems.
