Notifications from some apps not showing on 7s pro

I upgraded from an Instinct Solar to a fenix 7s pro this week. While I had notifications from all my apps showing just fine on my Instinct this isn't the case with my new fenix.

Some notifications such text, WhatsApp, Google Rewards, Chase etc. All work perfectly. Some notifications however are showing on the phone but not on the watch. Most critically Gmail and Google Home.

As I mentioned these were working perfectly on my Instinct but I double checked the settings on Garmin Connect, all apps are selected and notifications are set to on. I'm on the latest software version (14.68) and every permission is allowed.

If nothing worked it would probably be easier to get to the bottom of it but at the moment some apps aren't showing, two of which are highly important for me.

Any help or experience you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

So it seems I've got to the bottom of it thanks to a bit of Googling which lead me to another thread on this forum.

The problem was caused by having the Garmin Explore app installed. It's a bit disappointing that two bits of Garmin software don't play nicely together and even more disappointing that this issue was being discussed a year ago with no fix being released.

Anyway, I removed the Garmin Explore app and now I get all my notifications:)
