Dear Garmin - THANK YOU for "Large Fonts" (Beta 15.68)!

I was pleasently surprised to see large fonts integrated in the Fenix 7 with the latest beta. Esp since my Fenix 7s does show way bigger fonts in settings and widget overview than the Epix Pro 42mm I (still) have which is almost same size as "normal fonts". Very nice, it really is a big text size now. Not beautiful but very readable. I would love for it to be integrated everywhere over time, in widgets itself, activities etc. But for now very nice indeed.

I just wanted to say thank you Garmin. There is enough bad stuff posted here, mostly right so, so I thought I would post something nice when Garmin actually does it right.

Anyone have a picture of the large fonts on the watch face or in widgets? I can't find much online.

I can tell you it is very big text size, so big that some text gets cut off in widgets overview like my steps goal (1100 insteatd of 11000). And it is not very pretty but very useful and very readable…

Image support in notifications is also a nice unexpected addon, makes it more a smartwatch.

I had the Epix Pro 42mm till I returned it a few days ago, incl. testing large fonts and it wasn't a big of a difference. Maybe because the Epix has a way higher resolution. On my Fenix 7s you can massively see the large fonts differences, not such a big difference on the Epix Pro 42mm.

The video shows the Epix Pro.

Thanks for the link! It shows how to set the font size, which looks like a binary choice between smaller and larger. I'd love to see a comparison of the two sizes, but I guess that'll happen (on my own F7) after the update.

And it is not very pretty but very useful and very readable. I have glasses and couldn't read the Fenix 7s text size without it anymore really. Now I can again. Epix was another thing, as the better resolution and oled with high contrast is much more readable even for wearer of glasses without glasses on.
