Weather data totally wrong

I don't know where the watch take this data but is completely wrong:

1) How it's possible that max/min temperature are 21/12C and watch reports 7C(feel 5C).

2)Where this data come from??? Outside there is now almost 20C !

  • I have similar problem but the other way around. Current temperature is ok but forecast is completely wrong. For exemple the current weather will be 31 degrees C at 2pm and forecast will have a temp of 24 degrees from the next hour. And one hour later it will be same with current still around 30 and forecast at 25... It really likes like forecast and current weather ate using two different locations!

  • I don’t look at the weather anymore on the watch, since it’s often completely off.

Would be nice to get an explanation to why it’s so wrong.

Does anyone know what service they’re using?

  • It seems that Garmin weather source is kept secret, and the only official info I have seen is that "they take weather forecast from airports sources". But weather forecast of the international airport at about 30km from my home is 1000% more accurate... Nauseated face

  • The forecast being off, it’s annoying, but okay… can happen... But the current weather to be off by sometimes 10 °C, this is ridiculous.

  • it's been like this for years....

weather not being reliable, it's one thing. no weather source is completely reliable, it's not garmin's fault.

    HOWEVER.....

having highs and lows completely crazy (like your screen shows) is garmin's fault 100%

sometimes i have, early in the morning, 25 degrees.... the day won't get colder and hasnt been colder since midnight, and the highs/lows show a low of, say, 15.... it's garmin's algorythm that's wrong.... if the coldest yet has been 25 ans it'll only go upwards from there, even in the evening until midnight it'll stay above, then why show a low of 15....

noone seems happy with garmin weather yet it's not changed for years...

  • I have had same problem since 13.xx when I bought the watch. Never ever has worked for me.

    regards.
