Selecting notifications on Fenix 7 by apps on IOS

Hi,

I have an Iphone 15 Pro Max (I am coming from an S20 Ultra). On my S20 ultra on Garmin Conecct, I could choose which app notifications I want to receive on the watch. I have just to toogle on smart notifications in Garmin Connect to choose which app will send a noticifaction on the watch or not still receiving the same ntofication on the watch.

On The Iphone (IOS 17), I could not find on Garmin connect where to choose which app notification to receive. It is all or nothing. I am receiving all apps notifications. The only way is just to switch all notifications or to choose per apps on the Iphone which app will send a notification but in this case you don't even have notifications on the Phone.

For exemple, When I am tchatting I don't want to have notifications on the watch but on the Phone

Do you know how to solve this issue ?

You can disable notifications per app - go to notification settings on iPhone and uncheck middle option for alerts - Notification Centre. You should od this for all apps.

Thanks ! But if I do that I will not receive notification on the Iphone. I would like to receive it on the phone but not on the watch.

You will still have alerts on lock screen and banners, this is enough for me.

I test a Xiaomi Smart Band 8 and i was surprised to see that It's possible to select the noticiation by apps with iPhone under the Xiaomi Mi Fitness application !

Garmin Why it's not possible ? Even in a case you only hide the notification directly on the watch according to the Apps selection ?

Out of curiousity have you found a solution to this? I just switched from an android S22 to an Iphone 15 as well and am having the same issue. I normally only have my notifications on my watch set to text messages so i am not bombarded throughout the day with notifications about things i can read later on my phone.

There is no solution. (Except switching to AppleWatch or back to Android)

Workaround would be to disable Notification Center notification for every unwanted app. But this does also disable it on the phone.

This now seems to be Garmin issue - I recently discovered that Coros watches allow to filter notifications per app on iOS :( disabling notification center is a non-solution. Garmin, please fix this.
