Battery not even half of estimated

Got second Garmin Fénix 7X Pro after returning the first one to REÍ due to bad battery. The second one has same 50% of estimated battery life. I get around 15-16 days with maybe an hour of outdoor GPS run. It is supposed to last 27 days and while I know that this is an estarme hard to reach I would expect it to be closer to No other gps usage or activities. No 3rd party watch faces, no apps except battery grapher. My Epix Pro 51mm consistently gets more than advertised 11 days even with heavy GPS usage. Many times 12+ days with AOD on. So, how in the world Fénix 7X Pro gets 16 days with minimal usage?

No pulse OX. Backlight at 40%. No raise to wake up backlight. Only on tap or when notifications come which is maybe 30 notifications a day. Software v14.36

Are you using a watchface that you downloaded from the store ?

No. Nothing downloaded except battery graph app shown in the photo. Only using original Garmin watch face that came with watch.

You're not alone in your situation. There have been a few discussions on here already about this and I created this thread: https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-7-series/345696/fenix-7x-pro---how-to-achieve-the-advertised-28-days-of-battery-life - Everything seems to have been buried because of the other battery issue around that time though. I've returned my Fenix 7X Pro and just decided to wait until they get time to check into this more, or release another Enduro that can possibly withstand the excessive drain.

That original estimate excludes ANY GPS activity. So, if you turn off ALL the sensors, bluetooth, etc., you would get that kind of battery life.

If you check the specs, using the GPS only or All satellite systems drastically reduces the battery life. If you are running an hour a day, using all satellites + multiband for tracking, that is 7/36 hours, or roughly 20% of the battery life. That is before you add in any other HR tracking that may be going on as well. If you are using it for music also, that even drains more quickly.

It is perfectly reasonable to get to 15 days when you are using it to track runs and doing other activities that increase the load on the watch. (getting a lot of notifications on your watch? That was the second largest drain on my battery) Also, 15 days is more than half of the 27 day charge you mentioned. Mine has only only shown 22 days on a full charge initially even though they state 27 in the specs though.

What is most confusing to me is that the Fenix 7X (non-pro) was able to get a good 25+ days, with GPS activities, under the same usage patterns of the 7X Pro. The 7X Pro drains at minimum 5% a day, even without any GPS activities. There's another thread on here https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-7-series/344892/fenix-7x-pro---battery-issues that shows what I'm talking about. I can easily get the Epix 2 Pro 51 to exceed the Fenix 7X Pro in battery, without AOD and same usage as 7X Pro. Maybe I'm just wrong in expecting the 7X Pro to be on par in terms of battery with the original 7X. Unfortunately for me, after seeing how crispy and beautiful the display is on the 7X Pro, I can't go back to an Enduro 2 or original 7X.

I own F7 47mm and buy F7Pro. I also see the higher battery drain on F7Pro even in sunlight! Now my second F7Pro is in return, I´ll test them maybe later together side by side. With each use of F7Pro I consider more and more to stay on F7 non Pro :-/.

I don't know who told you about 25+ days on battery on Fenix 7X with GPS activities.
I'm using Fenix 7X (non pro) since February 2023 and fully charged watch showing me 26 days, but with my activities (usually 4 - 6 activities with GPS ut to one hour with music played from the watch) I need to charge my watch usually very 11 - 12 days.
