Can't update my Fenix 7 to 14.36

I've been trying to update my Fenix 7 watch but it gets stuck on "Preparing Update". After a long wait, it reboots and shows it updated to 13.22 :/ What to do to get it working?

I ran out of ideas on what to do. Is it that time I should contact Garmin support very first time?

The watch for the thread OP now shows software is on v14.36 on our backend so the issue is likely resolved.

You can try a reset to factory defaults and then update. You can backup/restore your files with this guide

Which Fenix 7 is it exactly ?
I ask because there was only an incremental update to 14.36 for my 7pro.

Have you tired via usb cable and garmin express software.

sadly, Garmin doesn't think that 14.36 is the last Stable Public release and include it in the 14.6x Beta announcement ...

You need to wait or expect someone here could share the file for your model.

I am still waiting for the answer to my question because I have only saved 7pro firmware.
