touch disabled pop up in pool swim-

Use the UP and DOWN buttons to toggle between data screens.

that is just the thing - it will not let me - it is frozen in place it seems for any activity that includes a swim - it says "touch disabled" as soon as I go into the activity...and when I go into the activity setting under "touch" it is greyed out and won't let me access to change it - ??

I would try a soft reset. Press the light button until the watch power off. Wait a little the turn the watch on again.

is this different than just power down the unit from your "controls" screen - ??...BC i did the power down and it did not work - so is the soft reset different ??

I would give the soft reset a try - if the ‘touch disabled’ sign still freezes on the screen, I would contact Garmin Support.

looks like I am calling Garmin - WTF?? :-)

I called Garmin - somehow the "rest" field had no rest features picked so what I thought was another screen was really the rest default screen essentially I really only was using 1 screen so there was nothing to toggle to - I set up the default rest screen as a data screen - thanks again for your help

I can turn it ON and OFF on all others.
I have tried all options:
1) MENU >  SYSTEM > TOUCH, select option
2) Pressing DOWN and START
3) On the individual Activity Setting pressing TOUCH (message is “Touch Disabled”)
4) Reset
Nothing works.
