Garmin Connect Web takes several minutes to refresh

I have the bluetooth and wifi connections in my watch on, the phone app on, syncing and refreshing. I refresh the web version every 10-20 seconds but data from the phone (and watch) does not show up for five minutes.

Is there anything I have to set on and I'm not doing it? Can I quit the phone app or stop syncing? Or can I turn the watch settings off once the data is in the phone? Why is this taking so long?

I still don't understand if I need the WiFi on or off in the watch to do this and which version refreshes with which device.

I don't have to and didn't have to do anything extra.
Once the watch has synced with Connect, you can disconnect.
The data can be viewed in the app.
How long it takes until the data also appears in the web version, I have not yet tested. Apparently they appear there immediately.
But it also depends on the Internet connection, the speed of the upload and, of course, the servers.
