I have utilized the "No Timeout" backlight setting during "General Use" for the duration of my use of the Fenix 7X Pro and it has worked flawlessly.
I got used to having some screen illumination using the Epix and found the battery drain to be tolerable for typical weekly use on the Fenix.
However, since updating to 14.31 and now 14.36 I'm finding the backlight settings to be wholly unreliable. I had thought 14.36 addressed the issue, but the backlight behavior continues to be unpredictable and intermittent. I have not timed it but I suspect at times the backlight is staying on for about a minute, other times it seems to stay on longer.
Often when I receive a notification the backlight will not illuminate despite having it set to turn on with notification.
I have tried a reset/restore of the watch along with numerous on/off cycles with no success in addressing the issue.
My use case may not be common but are there any others that have noticed odd backlight behavior on 14.31 & 14.36?
