My wife just bought me a Fenix 7X Sapphire and I must say I do like the extra features, in particular things like the flashlight, sunset times etc.
One thing I notice though, is the step counter is a lot different as it must use arm cadence while my 920 must have used the accelerometer. When mowing my lawn my 920 would record about 12000 steps, which is pretty accurate, while the Fenix records just a few hundred, because my arm is stationary on the push mower I have.
I like to track my daily steps, and it's disappointing it won't record lawn mowing steps - is there a way to change how it records steps?
On an unrelated note, the wallet feature is rather useless, especially if you live in Canada.
