Black screen when map overlay enabled Fenix7X pro sapphire solar

Hello,

Since I got this watch the first week of August ish, the screen turns black when a map overlay is enabled like pictured. Here I caught it mid way through the change from broken to fixed. But usually it's a solid black like depicted in the left half. Is this a known bug or an RMA issue? Youtube reviews do not show this error

Try power cycling the watch as that often sorts this out. Do you have more than one map enabled in that specific activity's settings?

Sorry for the delay in the response; But this did not help the issue. I am assuming by "power cycling" you mean manually turn off the watch in the menu settings? If so, I did that---and have updated to the latest firmware as of writing, and this issue persists?

I am not sure if any garmin reps are reading this; but I was told to post on the forums for support with this issue so they could also take a look at it; any updates

I also have just the one map enabled as far as I can tell where the "outdoor maps+" and "Topoactive maps" and can be seen. I am relatively new to the watch still.
