Garmin Ultrafit Nylon bands - better quality than cheap nylon bands or the same?

the cheaper nylon bands i bought were like 2usd a piece so i bought several to rotate between.

I purchased a pair of Yooside nylon velcro straps (1 x green + 1 x black) from Amazon Germany on Aug13, 2022 and have used only the green one. It still goes strong. I have no experience with the Garmin straps, but I would definitely purchase the same  Strap from Amazon. The strap retains almost no humidity thus it doesn't ger stinky. You should give it a try. Look around on Amazon or AliExpress.

The Garmin bands are better quality but given you can buy around 10 Yooside bands for the price of 1 Garmin band I know where my money gets spent. 

I purchased the Yooside initially not long after the enduro came out, as I wanted that type of band for my Fenix - it was certainly of marginally lesser quality than the Garmin OEM, but as I couldn't get the 22mm, I had no choice.. I saw the 22mm came out, but is is over NZ$100, which is pure robbery for a piece of nylon and velcro (I was in the tactical nylon trade for years, so I know how much these cost to make), so I just ordered another couple of black Yoosides.. this new batch are identical in every way to the Garnin (sans branding), I compared it with the original in my local store and they are the exact same elasticated nylon, the velcro tabs are well fixed, and the area under the velcro tabs has been prepared in the same way,. these are made at the same factory.. don't waste money on Garmin, you are not getting anything for the extra $$.. sorry, a grey cardboard box! 

I got the one from Garmin and it’s amazing. After having it for the last few months I can tell you it’s better than the knock offs. Yes it’s more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
