Hiking->Navigation->Use Map and Map Only touch setting

Hi,

During a Hiking activity (or any other activity), if I go to Navigation then Use Map, the map that appears is not accessible by touching the screen. In other words, touch is disabled.

My Hiking and System settings for Touch are “Map Only”, but it doesn’t seem to apply to this map.

If I change the touch setting in the Hiking settings to “On”, then the map that appears after Use Map allows the touchscreen to be used.

Is this normal behaviour? Or should the “Map Only” setting apply to all maps during an activity?

Is the same with my F7pro (Fw 14.26) but ... if you have started the activity, you can also call up the map view with the down button, and it can be operated by touch.

Ah thanks! I didn’t realise that you could navigate to a spot on the map on the map data screen. My “workflow” always involved going to the navigation screen first. You’re right that touch does work on the map data screen with the “map only” setting enabled.
