Fenix 7 PRO: Button stuck issues solved in the Pro lineup ?

I think the Pro models (I have an Epix Pro 51mm) are not out long enough.

I owned the Fenix 7X Tactix 7 and with both I had the button stuck problem (Garmin sent me replace for both).

Now I have the Fenix 7X Pro for 2 months, I have spent 15 days using it in seawater and, so far, no problems at all!

I hope it last!

Did the button problems with the7x and 7 came earlier than the problem-free 15 days of the pro ?

One of my buttons will probably get "stuck" once or twice a year. This is normally following a surfing session or a very sweaty long run which has me running though some gritty environments.

Both situations are pretty easily remediated via a soak in warm soapy water, a few button presses to free up the grit and salt, then a rinse.

Try the soaking method if you're experiencing the same and it's always a good idea to take the watch into the shower with you after a workout.

Does this problem occurs in swimming pool also, or just about salty water and sand?

It happened to me randomly with my old F5 (now replaced with F7X pro), but never really knew the root cause, since I'm not a swimmer. I went at sea occasionally on a couple of summers.

Usually after washing it and spray the buttons (lap and light buttons) with some WD40 eventually they got un-stucked. Anyways, It's almost 5 years old and still in very good working conditions, hoping the same for the F7x pro.

Fine grit, salt and even months of sweat can gum it up. I would recommend not using WD-40 or any petroleum based solution as it may destroy the delicate gaskets and strip away any silicon based lubricant

I should have specified that it was the WD40 Specialist Silicone, not the classic WD40.

After three weeks of use Fenix 7 Pro, up button clicking, but intetnaly stuck depressed. Very frustrating due that I am now three weeks on vacation and that is the time when it should be working perfectly.
