SLEEP tracking is ticking me off.

Ok, so here is the thing. I like almost everything about my new Fenix 7x. I really do.
But when it comes to sleep tracking, the utter lack of user friendliness is infuriating
Sure it might work for some people. I don't care. having something work correctly for some people doesn't ameliorate the situation in which it doesn't work for others and the failure to accommodate the cases where it doesn't work with a simple opt-out-solution is is bad business practice.

I could live with inaccuracies in tracking rem and such during sleep. I don't care much about that.

what pisses me off is that its automatic and starts tracking without my input. DO NOT DO THAT. EVER.

I want the option(!) to COMPLETELY disable all sleep schedules and automatic sleep tracking. Implement that as a feature now. fkin do it.
who was the complete ass of person that decided to take this decision out of the users hand? don't.. just don't.
why would you think that its a good idea to track something (and then there's the fact that that 'feature' doesn't even work right) without giving the user the option to disable that feature?(you, the guy who made that decision! I hate you! Yeah you read that right. feel free to write me. maybe we can have a call or meet up and you can tell me what kind of madness rode you to come to that decision. maybe we can have a beer and you can tell me your troubles. just sayin')

that is just BAD design.

I want to be able to completely manually set when i sleep and then disable the tracking when i wake up. i mean i can do that but  the schedule is mandatory and it still sometimes decides i must be sleepin even though I'm not.. I don't have a regular sleep schedule.

HOW is there no option to just straight up delete false sleep data? why do i have to manually set a nonexistent timeframe to trick my sleeptime to 0? and then when i do go to sleep i cannot track my real sleep. because the time has been set to 0. i don't want to be mean, but what kind of moron decided that sleep had to be tracked this way? rethink your job choices. I hear being a barista is cool...

I want a setting to disable both the sleep schedule and automated sleep tracking.

I don't ever want to go to bed and see that my watch just determined i have already been sleeping for the last 10 hours even though i've been sitting at my computer and working. that shiet keeps me awake. that is detrimental to my health. why? because then i can't just leave this fked up sleep entry there. i wanna delete it because it screws with my vital stat tracking. so i go to the app and see there isn't a single DELETE option for that sleep event. so to the web dashboard. but, no, can't do it there either.

not being able to delete a sleep event would be ok if there never was a faulty entry in the first place. but we don't have that luxury. so why is there no way to delete it?
if this is not possible due to how sleep is tracked, then how it is tracked needs changing. i might have ideas. but that's not my job.

if you cannot give users the option to disable the automatic tracking and the schedule, then i want the option to completely disable sleep tracking entirely. if it cannot be fixed to work and it cannot be fixed to be as user friendly as possible i want it gone. a feature that causes me to rage out that much due to the fact that it skews my data sets with faulty data is not a feature. its a BUG!.

Cheers and o7

p.s.: if by chance there is someone in existence who has/had the same problem and found a solution/hack/workaround that is not among those mentioned how i TRY to deal with the situation, feel free to enlighten me.

i set all schedule times to the smallest time window possible - doesn't help. it still tracks random sleep events of varying length.
also i don't have a set sleep schedule. it changes weekly and sometimes daily how long i can sleep and when i sleep. changing the set schedule for every day individually every day would be cancer. i usually manually enable sleep when i go to bed and disable it when i wake up. that's why i want to be rid of the schedule and automatic tracking.
when i get a faulty entry i usually hack/delete it by setting the sleep time to 0 minutes. - that then causes all manually tracked sleep to not register at all, that means i have to set the sleep and wakeup times manually again, resulting in a manual entry without proper rem/deep/light sleep tracking data. so it ends up as *** anyway, but at least the time is right.
